Spicer’s second media appearance was better than the first
Sean Spicer – the new White House Press Secretary – got off to a rough start in his first official appearance before the press. He started by bringing up the size of Trump’s inauguration crowds, attacking the media for reporting that it’s attendance was down from 2009.
However, it’s not a big surprise that the first day on the job was tough – most of us have been there – though not in front of the full press!
Spicer’s second day went much better.
He held a full length press briefing – over 1 hour, taking tons of questions and doing a bit to get the relationship with the media off to a better start (though we’ll see how long that lasts).
