While the global elites spend their time criticizing the United States, there are actual horrible things taking place across the world.
One of those horrible things is a recent sentence handed down in Pakistan, where the government is going to put a man to death for “blasphemy” on Facebook.
A court in the city of Bahawalpur found 30 year old Taimoor Raza “guilty” of insulting the prophet muhammad.
Apparently, Raza “insulted” muhammad during a Facebook argument with a man who turned out to be a Pakistani counter-terrorism official.
Pakistan has previously asked Facebook and Twitter to help them identify users sharing “blasphemous” content, not just in Pakistan, but around the world.
Disturbingly, globalist corporations often bow down to those demands rather than stand up for individual liberty and free speech.
Raza’s sentence – and the process by which those punishments are delivered – has been denounced by human rights organizations, including Human Rights Watch in Pakistan:
“The casual manner in which death sentences are handed in blasphemy cases coupled with the lack of orientation of Pakistani courts with technology makes this a very dangerous situation,” said HRW.
As reported by the Guardian, there is no penalty for making false-accusations of blasphemy in Pakistan, and as a result, people often use those accusations to settle personal feuds.
Cut off foreign aid to Pakistan
Pakistan’s extremist actions – approved of by their government – are yet another great reason for Canada to cut off foreign aid. In 2016 $10 million of Canadian taxpayers money went to Pakistan.
That should end immediately, as should all foreign aid.
It’s a brutal irony that we are supposed to be part of the civilized world fighting against ISIS while giving money to a country that plans to kill someone for “insulting Islam,” just as ISIS would.
It’s pathetic that our leaders can’t (or refuse) to see this massive hypocrisy.
Cowardly silence from the elites
Don’t hold your breath expecting Canada’s “leaders” or other globalist elites to criticize Pakistan for sentencing a young man to death for a Facebook post. The elites talk a big game when it comes to criticizing the United States or other western countries, but when it comes to confronting Pakistan or Saudi Arabia for their ISIS-style actions, they show nothing but cowardice.
It’s yet another disgraceful failure from those in power, and a sign that our leaders are gutless when it really counts.

The elites want to hide their many failures behind political correctness, deception, and manipulation. We need to push back and spread the truth.
That’s why I write.
