READ: Trudeau Releases Statement On Edmonton Terror Attack, Says “Canada’s Strength Comes From Our Diversity”

Trudeau statement doesn’t mention Islamic State flag found in vehicle used by terrorist.

Justin Trudeau has released a statement on the Edmonton terror attack. The statement can be read below:

“The Government of Canada and Canadians stand with the people of Edmonton after the terrorist attack on Saturday that sent an Edmonton Police Service officer to hospital and injured a number of innocent people who were out to cheer on their football team and to enjoy an evening in their city. I am deeply concerned and outraged by this tragedy.

“Our thoughts are with those injured, their family and friends, and all those affected by this senseless act of violence. I am also grateful for the first responders who were there on the scene, and the enforcement authorities who have been working through the night to make sure that everybody in Edmonton and Alberta is safe and secure. Police officers put themselves at great personal risk every single day on our behalf, and this attack is a stark reminder of the sacrifices they make for the public good.

“While the investigation continues, early reports indicate that this is another example of the hate that we must remain ever vigilant against. The RCMP and the Edmonton Police Service, through the Integrated National Enforcement Team, are working closely together to bring those involved to justice.

“We cannot – and will not – let violent extremism take root in our communities. We know that Canada’s strength comes from our diversity, and we will not be cowed by those who seek to divide us or promote fear. Edmonton is a strong and resilient city, and I am confident that its citizens will support one another to overcome this tragic event.”

Of note, while Trudeau repeats his usual “diversity is strength” talking point, his statement leaves out the fact that an Islamic State flag was found at the scene – something reported by almost every news outlet throughout Canada and across the world.

    1. Those that have walked around with their eyes shut and ears plugged for the past number of years and ignored what is happening around the world will be totally shocked with this terrorists attack in Edmonton. Those that do not ignore reality not so.

    2. any reasonable and sane person saw this coming of course…only those who are supposed to lead and direct us HAVE NOT …simple arrogance, stubbornness and outrageous behavior !!

    3. Oh yes we did. At least a year ago. I’ve been posting everyday about this. People are just waking up to this now. And they better fight it before it gets to the point where Europe is now!

  1. Now Prime Minister Trudeau and the Liberal group,
Are you going to stand up and accept responsability??
Are you now going to hear and listen to Canadian citizens objections to your immigration decisions?

    You were warned!!?

  3. Well, our diverse society now includes a lot of terrorists and people with dangerous un-Canadian values and they are not making us stronger. We need to unite in overt opposition and strong consequences to the threateners, most of whom shouldn’t be here in the first place.

  4. Absolutely the most ignorant, arrogant reply to such a hideous act. Why not blame the Police officer Trudeau? Or the Pedestrians scrambling to safety? Make up a story that they all were complaining about your stupid Immagration agenda and deserved what they got, blame it on the Victim again you idiot!!!! Call them Supremists. That is your answer isnt it? It is time for me personally to sue you and your Cabinet, you have placed my children and I in fear for our lives. I will not attend large Public functions, and am reluctant to use public transit. I will not mention other Canadian locations that I will not let my Family attend. To mention obvious locations of effect will only give the possible Terrorists that you may have opened our Border to ideas. Your last idiotic, brainless, self serving, agenda has now allowed Radicals a safe haven in Canada. No one knows who you have opened our Borders to. You will read all of my fears for my Family and Fellow Canadians in my Suit. You will not be able to hide your vast Family billions. When the suit is completed in Canadians at risk favour, 10.5 million will be going back to the tax fund that you stole from.
I will also apply to have you prevented from passing my fears and particulars of this lawsuit to your new Friends, this is to not allow ideas to slip into the wrong hands. Also your hidden accounts will be frozen.
    Sincerely
A Canadian Family you have placed in danger of security and life.

    1. I wish you luck in this. You are stating everything i am thinking. Including the vast amounts of money stolen from Canadians and supposedly given to the Clinton Foundation, Aga Khan scam foundations etal.

    2. This is what Trudeau wont’s. He is the one responsible for this and more to come. Open boarders and little screening. Mr Feminist and his political correct followers. How convenient there is no mention of the Islamic flag. Canada is a much different country with Mr. FEMINIST running it. But Canadians are so blinded by this Traitor.

    3. Electing a Prime Minister for his good looks, legalization of cannabis, lack of education and experience, can we expect otherwise. It was soon obvious we would have terrorist attacks and just was a question of when. Terrorists are protected under the Liberal Government which pretty much gives them the green light.

Absolutely brilliant – all Canadians who feel Canada is no longer safe should sue – if we cannot get Trudeau out of power, we can make things uncomfortable politically for him.

    4. you have an ally here !! could not agree with you more –the man is of the most spineless , theatrical fake category ever known …in my opinion… lack of seriousness, lack of sense of responsibility , of congruence , of honesty and genuineness , of any valid life experience…he must go ….

  5. My family and I have the same fears. I believe MANY Canadian Families are afraid to attend Large Gatherings, Concerts, etc. in fear of a possible Terrorist Attack with all the Unwanted, Non Vetted Terrorists that Traitor Trudeau has opened our borders to. We once had a Pretty Safe Country and were NEVER afraid to attend any events. NOT Anymore!
