REPORT: Canadians Among The Dead & Wounded In Las Vegas Mass Shooting

Two Canadians reported killed, three wounded.

According to CTV News, 23-year-old Jordan Mclldoon of Maple Ridge, B.C., and a 28-year-old Jessica Klymchuk of Alberta were killed in the attack.

Two women from Manitoba and a Canadian man were wounded. Jan Lambourne’s family told CTV that she had surgery and it “seemed to go okay.” Jody Ansell tweeted that she was shot in the arm but is expected to be alright. Sheldon Mack was shot in the abdomen and is now recovering after surgery.

As noted in the report, “Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale had previously said there is no indication that Canadians are among the dead or injured on Monday.”

The killer has been identified as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock. The death toll has now expanded to 58, with over 500 people wounded.

  1. Interesting — I watched CTV News Channel and our illustrious Minister of Public Safety assured the public that there were no Canadians killed — if that type of accuracy is in all of his assuances, perhaps we need a new Public Safety Minister?
