Suspect is reportedly a Bangladeshi national who has been in the United States for 7 years.
An explosion took place at the New York City Port Authority on 42nd Street & 8th Avenue.
One person was taken into custody, and that person is believed to be the bomber.
He was reportedly wearing a suicide vest.
The FDNY says there have been four injuries:

Some analysts have said the bomb went off prematurely, and it is reportedly being investigated as a terrorist attack.
Former NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton says it appears to be a man from Bangladesh, and believes it was an ISIS-inspired attack:

The man has been in the country for about seven years, Bratton said.
