WATCH: New Saskatchewan Party Leader Rips Trudeau On Carbon Tax

Incoming Premier Scott Moe shows true leadership by standing up for the interests of his province, and fighting back against Trudeau’s dangerous and economically destructive agenda.

After winning the Saskatchewan Party leadership race, Scott Moe pledged to stand up for his province and oppose the Trudeau carbon tax as Premier.

Moe said he would oppose “a federal carbon tax that threatens the livelihood of every farmer, every miner, every worker in the energy sector.”

He added, “I will fight for this province, I will fight for our economy to ensure that we do not have a carbon tax.”

Then, he directly addressed Trudeau:

“And Justin Trudeau, if you were wondering how far I would go, just watch me.”

Strong leadership

Moe is showing strong leadership, and is doing what a leader of a province should do: Stand up for the people they represent. It’s the same leadership shown by Jason Kenney in Alberta, as they are both fighting against an agenda from the Trudeau government that would damage the economies.

All Canadians should stand with those who are fighting to protect jobs and prosperity, and oppose the effort by Trudeau to impose his will against the wishes of Canadian provinces.

I like the tough talk from the new premier. Hopefully, he will go a step further and dismiss the whole notion of man-made global warming that is propped up by the socialists/globalists.
Meanwhile, in June 2017, CPC leader Andrew Scheer whipped his MPs to support a Liberal motion affirming the Paris Climate Accord, the accord that the Liberals point to as why they must impose a carbon tax!

Wish we had provincial leadership in Alberta like Saskatchewan has in place. Born and raised in Saskatchewan and wishing I was back home.

Justin Trudeau and liberals cannot enforce a carbon tax on any province. Some provinces will sucker-up to every whim Jihadi Trudeau issues but Sask is not one of them. The premiere is in charge of his province not you Justin Trudeau- and what he says goes.

It is great to see real leadership and a premier who sticks up for the province he works for as opposed to Notley who is just pretending to since the election is not far off. I have full confidence in Jason Kenney and trust him to do the same. As for Trudeau, Canadians need to wake up and realize just how destructive and divisive he is to our country; following the same pattern as his father until he was eventually booted. Hopefully this time around we can name a sewage lagoon after him.
