He’s sure hoping you don’t.
“We are going to run modest deficits for the next three years. That’s what our plan is about and I’m being straight and honest.”
“Mr. Mulcair’s plan is to actually do what we know politicians of all parties including my own have done in the past which is to say uh we’re going to balance the books and then ‘oops’ the numbers are worse than we thought, we’re going to have to break our promise. That’s not what I’m going to do. I’m being honest with Canadians. We’re going to run three deficits.”
“I am looking straight at Canadians and being honest the way I always have. We’ve said we are committed to balanced budgets and we are.”
“We will balance that budget in 2019.”
Those were words of Justin Trudeau in the leaders debate of Election 2015, uttered with all the pathos and ‘sincerity’ his drama degree could muster. He’s hoping you’ve forgotten those words, because they expose his immense hypocrisy and dishonesty.
You can watch what he said below:
This video should be seen by all Canadians, because Trudeau literally attacks Mulcair for exactly the thing he ended up doing. Trudeau got into office, said the numbers were worse than he thought, and said he had to break his balanced budget promise.
He repeatedly said he was being ‘straight and honest’ with Canadians, then turned around and betrayed the country. Instead of three ‘modest’ deficits, we have huge deficits as far as the eye can see.
Trudeau hopes you don’t share this video, so help it spread far and wide.
