Ontario Premier Doug Ford has shared his first public comments following the mass shooting on Toronto’s Danforth Avenue.

“My heart goes out to the victims and loved ones of the horrific act of gun violence in Toronto. Thank you to all the first responders for acting quickly to help everyone affected.”

Stop saying ‘gun violence’. Guns are not violent, VIOLENT PEOPLE use guns to do terrible things while GOOD MEN WITH GUNS do wonderful and brave things to stop them .. if they happen to have one handy.

See how that works? Now you don’t have to maintain a pathological fear of guns.

I hope Premier Ford realizes that there are a lot of responsible gun owners in Ontario and we went through gun control before with Pierre Trudeau. The lawful gun owner was penalized instead of the persons using illegal guns to commit crimes. Illegal weapons are much more prevalent now , and the majority are hand guns. Also automatic weapons are used more frequently. It’s too bad the nearsighted Liberals will jump on the gun control bandwagon again and punish the responsible gun owner again instead of knuckling down and finding solutions to the real problem, the illegal weapons.
