Bill Wilson – a B.C. Chief and the father of Jody Wilson-Raybould – is speaking out on the escalating scandal surrounding Justin Trudeau’s PMO.
Wilson strongly defended his daughter’s integrity:
“If she or I had been purchasable at some point in time in our political career it never happened, it didn’t happen and will never happen. If this mess comes out as messy as I imagine it might be, she will be one of the few people that won’t get any dirt on her.”
Wilson had faced off against Pierre Trudeau in the 1980’s, and criticized the empty words of Justin:
He called his daughter’s removal from the Attorney General post a “kick in the teeth,” adding, “I found that not only was it insulting, but politically stupid.”
He also said this about the Trudeau government: “Any of the aspirations they make under reconciliation, as far as I am concerned, are a farce… another shadow dance around the table with another Trudeau.”
Clearly, the Wilson family won’t let the Trudeau’s intimidate or silence them.
