That is obviously not something that is appropriate to discuss in the context of a DPA for SNC-Lavalin.
In jaw-dropping testimony, Jody Wilson-Raybould says that in a meeting with Trudeau – that was not supposed to be about SNC-Lavalin, it was the first thing he brought up.
The Clerk of the Privy Council Michael Wernick was also there.
She says they brought up the “Election in Quebec,” and that Trudeau called himself a “Quebec MP.”
She made clear that the decision not to give SNC-Lavalin a deferred prosecution agreement was already made, and that there could not be interference in it.
Yet, Trudeau kept pushing for a solution she says, saying over and over again that “a solution” could be found.
This is absolutely devastating for Trudeau.
There seems to have been a massive, inappropriate pressure campaign to subvert the rule of law, emanating from the PMO itself.
