One of the alleged victims is his wife, Caitlan Coleman.
Joshua Boyle, who along with his wife Caitlan Coleman, was taken hostage by the Taliban in Afghanistan, is set to face trial on multiple assault charges.
According to a reports on the partially-lifted publication ban, there are two alleged victims. One of the victims has not been named. But one has been named: It’s Boyle’s wife, Caitlan Coleman.
Among the charges facing Boyle are assault, sexual assault, and unlawful confinement.
Boyle had previously been invited to the Prime Minister’s Office, in a visit that enraged many Canadians and raised disturbing questions about Justin Trudeau’s judgement. Boyle had previously been married to Omar Khadr’s sister, and has said he had ‘previous discussions’ with Trudeau.
There are still many unanswered questions about Trudeau’s decision to invite Boyle, and with Boyle now facing serious charges, those questions must be answered.
