It’s backfired on them big time.
The Trudeau Liberals have failed miserably to shut down the SNC-Lavalin PMO Scandal.
So, they tried to use the threat of a lawsuit to silence Andrew Scheer.
In response to the lawsuit threat, Scheer said ‘bring it on,’ calling on Trudeau to go through with it and be put in a situation where he would have to testify under oath.
Yet, the Liberals seem absolutely terrified of following through on that threat.
They’re so worried in fact, that they appear to be laying the groundwork for ‘justifying’ their backing down.
They’ve falsely claimed that Andrew Scheer is ‘editing’ Tweets, even though Twitter doesn’t have an edit button, and are saying he’s changed his behaviour because they ‘put him on notice.’
Of course, none of what the Liberals are saying is true, but it is exactly what someone would say if they were planning to back down from a threat while trying to save face.

The Liberals have been ridiculed for the threat, as it would bring new attention to the Scandal and make Trudeau testify under oath and provide tons of information that he’s refused to give so far.
It would be disastrous for the Liberals, and it seems like they’re figuring it out. But, the fact that they even made the threat in the first place shows how desperate and chaotic things are in the PMO.
