WATCH: Jane Philpott Says Justin Trudeau Broke The Law

Philpott says a Caucus vote needed to take place for her and Jody Wilson-Raybould to be kicked out.

By kicking her and Jody Wilson-Raybould out of the Liberal Caucus without a vote of Liberal MPs, Justin Trudeau broke the law says Jane Philpott.

Philpott says 90 votes would have been needed to kick herself and Jody Wilson-Raybould out of the Liberal Caucus.

Yet, no reported vote took place.

Trudeau made the decision himself.

In her statement, Philpott said “We were expelled prior to the commencement of the Liberal caucus meeting,” Philpott told the Commons from her new perch among Independent MPs. “The prime minister’s words that night to the Liberal caucus are important to underscore, because expulsion should not be his decision to take unilaterally. However, the decision had been already made.” Members of Parliament are not accountable to the leader but rather the leader is accountable to members of Parliament, she said. “This is a constitutional convention.”

Philpott’s comments can be viewed below:

Possible law-breaking by Trudeau would not be a surprise, since he became the first PM to be found guilty of violating Ethics Laws while in office.

Clearly, Trudeau is horribly ethically-challenged.

Trudeau has the idea that just because he is Prime Minister, he is also the dictator of the country. He doesn’t seem to understand or respect the laws. He seems to think it’s his way or the highway and no one has ever told him that there’s more to consider in Parliament than just what he wants. If we’ve ever had a Prime Minister like this before, I don’t know when it was.

What is new about Trudeau breaking the law? No one will stop him. Strong leadership is needed and laws governing our politicians are needed to stop this from ever happening again. Bernier is the only one i see calling for the injustice to stop. Scheer is being a show man for the cameras. He may have some good people in the party but i don’t see him as doing anything to change the outcome. Trudeau continues to degrade Canada and to destroy our economy and Scheer continues to talk. I have to ask…What is he going to do to change… Read more »

Trudeau’s love of the “Chinese basic forum of dictatorship” is coming through loud and clear as his own personal Liberal caucus obeys his every command. Rules, who needs rules when you can just order people, no matter the position they hold, to do as you want them to. Then again, this is Trudeau’s way of doing politics differently. No need to be open and transparent , when your a dictator.
