Calls for investigation and accountability.
Opposition Leader Andrew Scheer and NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh spoke before entering the House of Commons, following the dropping of charges against Vice-Admiral Mark Norman.
Scheer said “We still have lots of questions about why the government was so afraid of the truth coming to light…”
Singh said there needs to be an “independent investigation.”
Their remarks follow stunning comments by Mark Norman’s lawyer Marie Henein, alleging that witnesses were counselled on what to say by the PMO & Privy Council Office.
