Canadian MP Mark Warawa Passes Away At 69

Warawa had recently announced that he was battling pancreatic cancer.

Conservative MP Mark Warawa has passed away at the age of 69.

Warawa had announced a few months ago that he was battling pancreatic cancer. The cancer had spread to his lymph nodes, colon, and lungs.

The announcement of his death was made by his family on social media:

“Dear friends,

This is the final update on the life of Mark Warawa, Member of Parliament for Langley – Aldergrove.

Mark’s final statement to his constituents was, “It’s been an incredible honour to have served my community since being elected federally in 2004.”

Mark went to be with his Lord on June 20, 2019.

His family asks that messages of remembrance be forwarded onto the office:

Mark’s new address is in heaven, where he hopes to see you someday.

Mark’s favourite verse was John 3:16:
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Mark hopes that one day he will see you in heaven too.

The memorial service details will be communicated after they have been finalized.
