Report: 34 Workers Trapped In Saskatchewan Potash Mine All Safely Brought To Surface

There are 34 workers trapped in a Nutrien potash mine in Saskatchewan.

The mine is the Cory potash mine.

According to a Global News report, the mine is southwest of Saskatoon.

Additionally, “A company spokesperson said the workers are “safe and comfortable underground” and have been on stand-down since Tuesday afternoon.”

The service shaft it the mine is not operating, and the company says they will bring the workers “to the surface as soon as practicable,” according to the report.

At this time, the company has not released more information.
