On Twitter, Trump had said “all is well!”
U.S. President Donald Trump is speaking following an Iranian missile strike on bases in Iraq housing U.S. forces.
No Americans were hurt or killed in the attack, and many view this as on opportunity to de-escalate from rising tensions.
Yesterday, Trump appeared to be taking a measured tone in response:
“All is well! Missiles launched from Iran at two military bases located in Iraq. Assessment of casualties & damages taking place now. So far, so good! We have the most powerful and well equipped military anywhere in the world, by far! I will be making a statement tomorrow morning.”
