Conservative Leadership candidate Erin O’Toole says he’ll defend Canadian history.
Speaking at Valour Road in Winnipeg, O’Toole said “From our earliest days to today, men and women serve our country, and they need a champion as Prime Minister. Someone who will fight for their needs. Give them the equipment we need and make sure Canada is a dependable ally.”
In Twitter, O’Toole share the video of his comments, while writing “Let’s stop erasing Canadian history. Let’s honour our past and build a stronger Canada.”
O’Toole has positioned himself as someone who will stand up for Canadian history against the ‘cancel culture’ of the radical left, and many Conservatives are liking what he’s saying so far.
