A resident of a North Vancouver care home has passed away.
Officials have now recorded the first death of a Canadian Citizen due to Coronavirus (COVID-19).
The individual was a resident of a care home in North Vancouver, in the Lynn Valley.
On Saturday, it was announced that the person had Coronavirus.
They passed away on Sunday.
Reports indicate the victim was an elderly man.
Canada now has 77 confirmed or presumptive cases of Coronavirus, with the number rising daily.
