Yet again the Liberal government puts foreign countries first, and Canadians last.
With the China CCP Coronavirus spreading throughout Canada, our country faces a looming shortage of essential Personal Protective Equipment, like masks and protective clothing for doctors and nurses.
And a key reason for that shortage is that Justin Trudeau gave away a whopping 16 TONNES of that equipment.
He gave it to Communist China.
Here’s the text of the Government of Canada news release from February 9, 2020:
“February 9, 2020 – Ottawa, Ontario – Global Affairs Canada
Canada is working with its partners and international organizations to control the spread of the novel coronavirus. This is vital to helping those affected and protecting the health and safety of people around the world.
To support China’s ongoing response to the outbreak, Canada has deployed approximately 16 tonnes of personal protective equipment, such as clothing, face shields, masks, goggles and gloves to the country since February 4, 2020.
This equipment has been provided in collaboration with the Canadian Red Cross and the Red Cross Society of China.
“Our deepest thoughts are with all those affected by this outbreak. We continue to monitor the situation and stand ready to provide further assistance as needed.”
— François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Foreign Affairs
“Canada is saddened by the impact of the novel coronavirus outbreak, especially the loss of life, on the Chinese population. Personal protective equipment is essential to prevent and limit the spread of the virus.”
— Karina Gould, Minister of International Development”
Imagine if Canada had kept that Canadian equipment within our own country to help Canadians.
But instead, Trudeau gave it away to Communist China, even though China produces most of that equipment themselves, and even though many were already warning that the Coronavirus would hit Canada if action wasn’t taken immediately.
Instead of listening to that advice, Trudeau left the borders open, refused to take strong action, gave our equipment away, and now Canada faces a shortage of that equipment when we need it most.
Once again, we see that the Trudeau government puts foreigners first, and Canadians last.
