The ruthless and increasingly belligerent totalitarian state threatens “continuous harm” to Canada.
China under their current leadership continues to demonstrate that it is an enemy of Canada, with their latest threat being “continuous harm” to Canada if Meng Wanzhou is not released.
Here’s what a Chinese foreign ministry spokesman said:
“The Canadian side should immediately correct its mistake, release Ms. Meng and ensure her safe return to China at an early date so as to avoid any continuous harm to China-Canada relations. The U.S. and Canada abused their bilateral extradition treaty and arbitrarily took compulsory measures against a Chinese citizen without cause.”
Notably, China is making the threat a day before a judge rules on whether Meng’s extradition to the US can go forward, in a clear attempt to influence the upcoming decision.
At this point, the evidence of China’s hostility towards Canada – and towards all of our democratic allies – is so overwhelming that anyone who refuses to acknowledge the danger posed by China is leaving Canada open to further mistreatment and infiltration by the brutal Chinese Communist Party.
