How The Hell Can We Justify Giving Billions To Foreign Countries While Our Seniors In ‘Care Homes’ Are Treated Like Trash?

Such horribly misplaced priorities signal something very screwed up at the core of our government and our country.

It has been said many times that a society can be judged by how it treats the most vulnerable.

And on that score, Canada is failing miserably.

Ongoing revelations of horrific conditions at long-term care homes, including military personnel being shocked by the conditions they found, has made it clear that our vulnerable seniors are being treated like trash:

“Military personnel sent to nursing homes in Ontario have observed shocking conditions, including “blatant disregard” for infection control measures, mistreatment of residents and a level of care described as “horrible,” according to documents obtained by Global News.

Canadian Armed Forces teams deployed to five of the province’s worst-hit long-term care homes to help control COVID-19 have raised concerns about each of the facilities, describing the care as ranging from below best practices to “borderline abusive, if not abusive” and worse, the documents show.”

The people who literally built our country, who gave us the opportunity we have today as Canadians, are being treated even worse than prisoners and criminals.

Meanwhile, our country is giving billions of dollars to foreign countries, including hundreds of millions to the corrupt World Health Organization.

How the hell can that be justified?

How can we give money to foreign countries and foreign institutions while our own seniors are abandoned and treated like garbage?

There must be a reckoning for this.

We must fix our screwed-up priorities.

Our national resources and wealth must go towards taking care of our own People, especially the seniors who built our nation.
